I got a letter from the school! I'm going to be a prefect this year!

This is so exciting! I'm a little nervous, but mostly I'm flattered. I mean, I guess it's pretty good to be considered prefect material, right?

I think Mother's proud, honestly. That feels pretty good, too.

i used to, for a kid.
then puberty came and my voice is all uneven and cracky.
so i lost it.
