Father went back to Norway for part of the summer and I bet none of you will BELIEVE what he brought back!

Weapons! Viking weapons! Also helmets! They are so beautifully made and terribly good for running into things with! He also brought back a hammer but


I can't lift it.

It's as if it's charmed to the ground. I've been trying for weeks to pick it up and I've got blisters on my fingers.


According to legend, one must be worthy to lift the hammer. Am I not worthy or something? How does one become worthy?

Yeah. We're cool now. She might threaten to make me into soup every now and then but it's okay.

It means I am not a blowhard, Amelia told me! She also said I was modest or something along those lines. So by all means I should be able to lift this hammer.
