Rejoice, students of Hogwarts, for I have found my journal!

It was trapped underneath Trollki's tank. I have no idea how it got there. But that explains why it was missing all summer! And I know you have all missed me, but please try to contain your enthusiasm. Don't all rush to greet me at once, I will be on the train, after all.

In other news, all current and prospective members of the Medical Science and Magic Society, please note that we will be holding our first meeting Thursday, September Sixth post evening meal in the dungeons. There will be cake, so make sure to save some room! I can't wait to see everyone there!

(No, Ognian, you're not allowed to show up just for the cake. That is for members only.)

Well, yes......... But if I can't keep Ognian out, I can't really justify keeping anyone out. We prefer that you have an interest in science and medicine, but I can't really say no to anyone who makes an effort to learn.

Well I'm interested in all kinds of magic, but I'm especially interested in how it interacts with muggle areas of knowledge. A club for studying medicine and magic sounds fascinating.

Well, the other house where the smart people. Slytherin has me after all. Just chill, she's fine.

Some people are smarter than others. Do you know they sometimes Sort artists in here? It's so stupid.

And you're an exception for Slytherin. Though I suppose it's a better House than the other two alternatives.

Herbert, who do you think draws the diagrams in textbooks?

That's not really the same thing. I'm not talking about that kind of artist, anyway. I could probably learn to do THAT. Though it would be nice if they WERE that sort of artist, it would be a useful talent for the club.

I can do that, Herbert. I paint too. I am an artist. I am a man of many talents.
