Rejoice, students of Hogwarts, for I have found my journal!

It was trapped underneath Trollki's tank. I have no idea how it got there. But that explains why it was missing all summer! And I know you have all missed me, but please try to contain your enthusiasm. Don't all rush to greet me at once, I will be on the train, after all.

In other news, all current and prospective members of the Medical Science and Magic Society, please note that we will be holding our first meeting Thursday, September Sixth post evening meal in the dungeons. There will be cake, so make sure to save some room! I can't wait to see everyone there!

(No, Ognian, you're not allowed to show up just for the cake. That is for members only.)

Well, yes......... ~~But if I can't keep Ognian out, I can't really justify keeping anyone out.~~ We prefer that you have an interest in science and medicine, but I can't really say no to anyone who makes an effort to learn.

Well I'm interested in all kinds of magic, but I'm especially interested in how it interacts with muggle areas of knowledge. A club for studying medicine and magic sounds fascinating.

What kind of marks do you get?

Your missing journal has been very inconvenient. My uncle has provided me with some very useful supplies on my visit, and shown me a few things you might find intriguing. Owls simply aren't fast enough for overseas communication. Don't lose it again.

I'm going to kill them all. No jury in the universe will convict me. I was this close to doing a voice post and yelling myself hoarse. Currently questioning my sanity. Why did I think this was a good idea again?

I guess. It always feels a little bit like going into exile. And skimming through the entries I missed, it looks like I'm the only muggleborn that feels that way.

'Exile' is a bit harsh. If you feel that bad about going home next time, see if your parents will let you come over here for a bit.

Dad wouldn't mind too much if we wrecked the lab a few times for science. :)
