Hello everyone. My name is Ib Amano. It is nice to meet you.
I am interested in joining a club. I am already in the art club, but my parents say I should join one more, so I would like to ask forrecoman recommendations.
I apologize if my English is not so good. I am trying to get better.
Thank you for your time.

My name is Shinra Kishitani and I'm a 4th year Ravenclaw. It's very nice to meet you.
Have you considered joining the Medical Science and Magic Society? Everyone there is very interesting.

And don't worry about your English. Mine wasn't very good during my first year either.

What is the society about?

Your English is now very good. I hope my English will be as good as yours in the future. I am very happy to meet a fellow Japanese student.

Did you understand all of that?

Thank-you! But I still have a lot to learn.
I'm sure your English will improve soon enough. Studying here, you really have no choice but to improve.
But let me know if you have any questions! Especially questions about figures of speech. They can be very confusing.
no subject
I would like to become a healer and help people, but I am afraid I am not very smart.

I have a dictionary with me, but I agree. The figures sometimes confuse me, because the words mean something else, instead of what they are written.
Thank you for your offer. I am very sorry to disturb you.

We met on the train and stuff.
There's a rap club! That'd certainly help improve your English, but to be honest, it seems fine to me.
no subject
Ah, but rap...is very fast. I cannot keep up with it.
no subject
But if you listen to it enough and try it, maybe it'll be make it easier in the long run?
no subject
I will try to attend the first meeting.
no subject
Cool! I'm going to go too, so we can go together if you want.

Some of them are a bit dull, but what sort you like?

But there IS a music club! Wouldn't that be fun to join?

I do not really like dancing, but I will attend and see what sort of music they have. Thank you for your recommendation.
Ah, I apologize, I have not asked for your name.

The table top rpg club can be fun, even if our president is a prick.

What is a table top rpg?
no subject
Oh. It is a bit complicated!

I'm afraid that's the only club I'm in, so I can't really recommend any others, but I wanted to say hi. [And there's a smiley face.]

What sort of art do you like?
no subject
Mostly stuff with pretty colors or bones. Bones are very interesting, especially skulls. I'm more used to muggle art than this magic stuff though. I'm always startled when something in the picture gets up and walks away!

Skulls are the best though. They have all these neat little nooks and crannies. And seeing them always makes me feel cheerful, because they look like they're smiling. [She sketches some kind of rodent skull. On the one hand, those teeth are kind of scary looking. And it's a skull. On the other, it does look kind of happy. For a skull. It's not drawn quite correctly, but it's got more detail than most skull doodles get.]
What kind of art do you like?
no subject
That is a very good sketch.
I like all types. I especially like drawing flowers and scenery.
no subject
Flowers come in some pretty awesome colors and shapes too. I don't think I'd be as good at drawing them though. I don't have as much practice.
I guess if you like drawing scenery, you've always got something to use as a model, don't you. That's a lot easier than drawing stuff from memory.
no subject
I like drawing scenary that I imagine myself too. It's very fun.
no subject
Really? That's neat. You could imagine all sorts of things. ...Do you find it hard to draw stuff without a model? I have a hard time sometimes, unless it's something I know really well.
no subject
[And have a return sketch of an orchid. It's not very realistic, but it's got really nice colouring.]
Sometimes. If it's something that I imagine, it's easier because it doesn't look like something real so I can draw whatever I want.
no subject
Hmm. I guess I know what you mean. I'm not good at doing that kind of thing. I like the stuff I draw to look real.
Maybe I can find a way I like to draw fanciful things during club.
no subject
I hope to learn to draw people from others. I am not very good at that.
