What sort of art do you like?

Same here.

Mostly stuff with pretty colors or bones. Bones are very interesting, especially skulls. I'm more used to muggle art than this magic stuff though. I'm always startled when something in the picture gets up and walks away!

Do you like how bones look?

Yeah! They're all sorts of cool shapes. And they connect to each other in interesting ways.

Skulls are the best though. They have all these neat little nooks and crannies. And seeing them always makes me feel cheerful, because they look like they're smiling. [She sketches some kind of rodent skull. On the one hand, those teeth are kind of scary looking. And it's a skull. On the other, it does look kind of happy. For a skull. It's not drawn quite correctly, but it's got more detail than most skull doodles get.]

What kind of art do you like?

I like all types. I especially like drawing flowers and scenery.

Flowers come in some pretty awesome colors and shapes too. I don't think I'd be as good at drawing them though. I don't have as much practice.

I guess if you like drawing scenery, you've always got something to use as a model, don't you. That's a lot easier than drawing stuff from memory.

I like roses a lot. They are my favourite flowers. Do you have a favourite flower Vashti?

I like drawing scenary that I imagine myself too. It's very fun.

Hm. I don't know a lot about flowers. Orchids are pretty nice though.

Really? That's neat. You could imagine all sorts of things. ...Do you find it hard to draw stuff without a model? I have a hard time sometimes, unless it's something I know really well.

Orchids are very pretty.

[And have a return sketch of an orchid. It's not very realistic, but it's got really nice colouring.]

Sometimes. If it's something that I imagine, it's easier because it doesn't look like something real so I can draw whatever I want.

Hmm. I guess I know what you mean. I'm not good at doing that kind of thing. I like the stuff I draw to look real.

Maybe I can find a way I like to draw fanciful things during club.
