[Roxy had planned on finding a quiet corner of the Slytherin dorms, curling up into a ball and just staying there until the aching and empty feeling left her chest. It was a solid plan and one she had every intention of sticking to until she she saw purple text in her journal and felt her stomach drop to her feet.

She didn't want to leave but...it's Rose and she doesn't doubt Rose will make good on her threat to fetch her if she doesn't show up. Reluctantly, she grabs her journal and drags herself out of the dorms to make her way toward the lake.]

[Rose had gone out of her way to set up a surprise for Roxy. Actually, she had set it up before she left the notice so she wasn't short on time.

She had laid out a checkered blanket in the color of Ravenclaw's colors, but there were small pink cat heads knitted into the design. Rose would never admit, but she had wanted to know Roxy's house ahead of time so she can start the gift and finish it by school. Her seer powers weren't perfect, but they were enough to get her a glimpse. It was all she needed. She wasn't actually completely sure, but she trusted it because she knew Roxy was an intelligent girl deep down.

There were small plates with cake slices laid out, along with a tea pot and tea cups set up.]

We should take advantage of the weather while it's still nice.

Contact her; she would be able to offer you assistance, and I think as your Head of House she has the right to know why one of her students is asking for a day off. She's good at listening and she's a very fair teacher, so if you do have a valid reason she's more than likely to grant you the exemption.
