To anyone who might have heard about my brother Phineas' unfortunate accident and subsequent stay in hospital, mother has informed me that he's perfectly fine now. I'm sure all of those whose lives he has touched with his generosity and gentleness of spirit will be very relieved.

I see other students say such things about other teachers all the time, and they are not reprimanded for it, including your own son. However, I accept that I have offended you. I would just like some clear guidelines. From what I can deduce from what you've said, and behavior I have observed in others, it is merely unacceptable to find public fault with YOUR personal appearance and teaching methods. Since that seems to be the case, I'll refrain from addressing you at all when speaking to other students. My apologies, sir.
