WHO DECIDED IT WAS A GOOD IDEA TO TURN HULK GREEN? More importantly, what did you use to make him green because it's not washing off or coming off with any spells!

[And then after a while, Maxim will just kind of shuffle into the goat pens, looking a bit like a kicked puppy]

[Glances up from where he's tussling with Hulk, looking thoroughly rumpled with a smear of dirt on his cheek and glasses tossed off to the side somewhere. Squints and then smiles warmly, standing and lifting Hulk - still green and bleating ominously but at least not kicking as much.]

Hey, come meet Hulk.

[Oh gosh, Bruce, why do you have to look so cute like that? Maxim is just going to find his glasses quick first, before someone, be it goat or human, steps on them, and then he will be right over]

Dot iz a feisty goat, yah.

[Hulk just snorts through his nose and flails a bit to which Bruce response with a headbutt which quiets down the kid immediately.

Bruce smiles a bit tiredly and shrugs, holding Hulk properly so the kid won't panic.]

Just a bit - he's high strung but being turned green didn't help.

[he snorts at the headbutt.] Hyu gonna haff a sore head pritty soon if hyu keep dot up. Hyu schmott guys ain't got t'ick schkulls like de likes ov me.

[stepping a bit closer, he cups the goat's head in his hands, holding them pretty steady despite any thrashing] Hey now, hyu, hyu gotta be goot for hyu new pappa! He's gonna luff hyu und take care ov hyu, so hyu do de same right back, hyu hear?

[Laughs at that and shakes his head.]

Nah, I do it gently enough - he seems to like it for some reason.

[Hulks just bleats at Maxim and sticks his tongue out, legs flailing a bit before quieting again. Bruce just snorts and strokes one of the gangly legs.]

He's more likely to bowl me over once he's strong enough which at this rate could be tomorrow.

[Focuses on Maxim's face and asks hesitantly:]

Um... you okay? I didn't mean to pry or make assumptions...

'Courze he does. He iz a goat. Dey bump heads to establish dominance und schtuff. Hyu bump his head like dot, hyu schowink him hyu iz like his pappa. [He smiles at Hulk, leaning in to nuzzle his nose affectionately.] He gon' do it out ov luff, hyu know.

[He doesn't look up to meet Bruces eyes at the question, shrugging his shoulders and keeping focused on the goat instead, moving his hands to massage the Hulk's skull at the base of his ears] Iz fine. Ve Jaegers, ve iz like dem rubber balls, yah? Ve bounce.

I'm a bit young to be a father. [SNORT, though Hulk certainly enjoys the attention, bleating quietly and rubbing against Maxim's hands.]

[When Maxim doesn't answer quite as directly as Bruce would like, he hesitates before leaning closer to lightly bump his forehead to Maxim's since he can't free his hands.]

I meant it - that you shouldn't just cut yourself off from 'pure' people. [Takes a breath and goes on:] I tried after the 'accident' because I was afraid I'd hurt someone really badly but... you learn and you get better at not hurting them. You're a good guy, even if you keep saying you're a monster, and smarter than you think - I'm sure you can learn.

[His eyelids flutter a bit as Bruce bumps into his forehead before finally sliding closed. It takes him a moment, but he does bump back, nuzzling his nose into the Ravenclaw's cheek with a small sigh] Hyu und Hy are different. Hyu vos raised to be goot. Hy vos not.

[Smiles a bit and rests his forehead against Maxim's, Hulk complacent between them.]

Doesn't mean you're not capable of being good - you got sent here to learn right? What better to learn than how to be friends with all sorts of people without hurting them?
