Well, currently I'm trying to sort out the main problem with an idea I have. You know the whole crazy technology ban they have here? There's got to be a way to get around it, magically, I mean, not with technology. Switching Spells are a dead-end I'm pretty sure. Living things aren't compatible with non-organic are they? No, that would be ridiculous. I'm not some mad scientist.

I want to make a thing. But I'm not sure how to make this thing. I know how to make it do what I want, when I've made it, which is shoot web, sort of like a spider, yeah? And I know how to create said web.

It's just the whole, thing part.

A thing, I haven't figured that out yet, didn't I say that up there? More like something to allow me to shoot webbing. Maybe some sort of... bracelet...

Sort of like... A thing. I don't know... Like a watch that shoots webbing.

I want to use it for parkour.

Webbing, not rope. Spiders don't use rope, they use webbing. Yes, I want to do just that is there a problem with that oh wait you're a prefect nevermind. And that sounds dangerous....

But theoretically I would be able to, I guess.

If you're going to practice slinging from tower to tower on campus just remember to have a friend with you to case a net spell or levitation spell to catch you if you slip up.

... And maybe start off a bit closer to ground level so you know the webbing can support you. I don't want your spider-obsessed ghost haunting our tower.

If you take the proper safety precautions, of course - it'll be interesting to see how you make the webbing, especially from something small enough to fit on your wrist yet capable of spitting out several meters of the stuff in one sitting.

Well, I imagine if we look at what goes into the spell, we could just alter what produces the rope to produce web instead.

Yes, theoretically that should work. That's what I've been thinking of doing... But I've also been wondering about the web strength, which is why I want a sample of some.
