[Marcie's voice sounds halfway between hysterical and amazed, scared and confused and is undeniably a shriek of annoyance. Of course, in the fact that she's kind of emotional right now, she forgot to filter this entry.]

What sort of a sick joke is this?!

[No Marcie, don't cry. He closes the distance between them and puts an arm around her.]

It'll be okay. I mean, this is good right?

[She hunches her shoulders a little, rubbing at an arm now. He feels so cold...is this how she felt just little more than an hour ago? She couldn't remember if she actually felt any difference between them last time.]

Y-yeah. It's...it's good. I was just startled is all. I'd just resigned myself and then...well, this happened.

[He seems to come to this realization himself only he's amazed at how alive she is. He can hear her heartbeat and smell her now. It's oddly disconcerting.]

Maybe you have some kind of immunity that took a long time to get rid of..it.
[He gives another small smile but Merlin, it feels forced.]
You shouldn't worry about how or why now. You should be happy. If it's not permanant..enjoy it while it lasts.

[She bites her bottom lip, feeling a little weird when her fangs don't poke her skin, and then she laughs at the idea of being immune to it. She reaches up to tuck some hair behind her ear, glancing away.]

You're not...weirded out by this?

[Marshall sighed up into his bangs.]

I'm not weirded out. I'm actually happy for you.

[A half truth. He really is happy for her but at the same time he now suddenly feels a lot more alone and also feels guilty for having that feeling.]

So, you should be happy too. Go and do living things. Breathe some oxygen and go eat something.

[She purses her lips together, not quite believing him for a moment, before deciding to let it go, sighing herself. Would things be weird between them now that she was human again? She'd honestly felt a little worried about approaching him, given how susceptible she'd been to Ash's compulsion when she'd been human.]

But...if this is temporary I don't want to get used to the idea of being human again.

[Marshall didn't quite know what else to say or think. Of course he'd still be friends with her..human or not human she was a cool person. He really didn't want their friendship to change but...]

I suppose that's true too. But don't you think you should enjoy it while it lasts then?

[She brushed some hair behind her ear, thinking. She couldn't begin to imagine how he felt seeing her human again while he was still a vampire. But he was right. This was her second chance to be human, even if it was for just a day or however long this would last.]

I guess... [Her lips quirk into a small smile.] I have missed pizza.

[marshall_lee]

[He does feel awkward and also worrying that she'll think differently of him as well.]

You know...I've never had pizza...or chocolate. I've always thought they smelled really good though.

[She nearly groaned at the mention of chocolate. She's still mildly hungry, mostly due to having not had much of anything but blood potions for the last couple of months.]

Muggle chocolate is the best. And don't get me started on pizza. I went to Rome one summer. Best. Idea. Ever.

I don't even remember much of what anything tasted like.
I do remember that I used to really like freshly made bread though..and walking past the bakery always smelled awesome.
[What can he say, he didn't grow up with fancy things.]
