i feel weird!
guys, it's not normal to just suddenly want to kiss... someone, right?
what's happening to me?

[And Dave's response only makes John kiss back harder, pulling him as close as possible when you have your forearms and fists in-between yourself and another person. As his mind clears, he begins thinking of how this changes things, wondering what he'll tell Jades, does he even tell her, is he actually attracted to Dave... Too many questions, coming rapidly at him far too rapidly for him to ignore.

And eventually, he reluctantly pulls himself away from Dave, fists still gripping his shirt, and John bends his head to his forehead touches them, breathing hard.]

I... I don't know... What do I... What now?

[Dave is a little out of breath himself when John pulls back from the kiss (by which I mean panting like he's about ten seconds and a diagnosis away from an asthma attack), and he can't really explain why his eyes fill with tears. His shades clink against John's glasses.]

If you don't want it to, it doesn't have to mean anything.

[It hurts him to say it, and that comes out in the waver of his voice.]

I... I don't know what I want anymore. I don't know if I want you like this or if it's just some weird thing going on. I don't want to hurt you or Jade, but...

[He lets go of Dave and takes a step back, head low.]

I'm an idiot. I shouldn't have called you up here.

[Dave's not stupid. His lips are still tingling, but his stomach is twisted into a cold knot in the pit of his stomach. Still, when John pulls back, a part of Dave wants to follow him and kiss the frown off of his lips. But he doesn't. He forces a smile and raises his hands in front of him.]

Hey, no big. It'll just stay between you and me. Promise. No harm, no foul.

Damn, when did you learn to snog like that, though? Jesus, my knees are still weak.
