[Backdated to September 29th]

I don't know who decided to give Zazzerpan pie, but I would advise against doing it again as he was very sick all over the goat pen. Seeing that it was just a very simple case of stomach upset and since he's feeling much better now, I'm not terribly angry about this. However, it was very concerning for a while and cleaning up after him was very unpleasant, so I really would appreciate it if you would talk to me before feeding my goat. Thank-you.



And to everyone who happened to have Ancient Runes with me yesterday, [inkblot] I'm very sorry you had to see that. It won't happen again. [Another inkblot] Or it won't happen again if I can figure out exactly what happened. I'll look into it at my earliest possible convenience.



[[OOC: Apparently, on September 28th, one Gamzee Makara happened to be speculating on what certain people might look like if they were naked. And then thinking made it so.]]

[He gives off a small confused frown as Gamzee closes the book. Perhaps Gamzee had already gotten everything out of it that he needed, but he would have liked to talk about that matter for just a bit longer. After all, Gamzee's hypothesis was astounding and completely unheard of as far as he knew. However, it did make a lot of sense. A curse should have a distinctive energy about it and logically, any related omens would have to possess the sme energy. He's about to point out how brilliant Gamzee's hypothesis is and how it could potentially revolutionize divination, but then Gamzee starts talking about Hogsmeade and... Well, that's also very important.

He looks up at the other boy with a half reverent, half gleeful smile.]

I would definitely like that! And I'm not doing anything on Saturday if you'd like to go then. Are you planning on going to the apothecary this time? Because I would be more than happy to join you. And afterwards we could...

[He trails off, having realized that he's not quite sure of what anyone really does on a date or -more importantly- what there was to do in Hogsmeade that Gamzee would particularly enjoy. He shrugs, smiling amiably.]

I'm sure we can think of something.

I can think of a lot of things. [The curve of Gamzee's lips and the way he glances down the younger boy's body makes it pretty clear what he's thinking about, though really, it's not like they can go rent a room in Hogsmeade or anything. Unconsciously, he touches his lower lip with his tongue, though, nodding slowly.] Yeah, I gots to go to the apothecary and then talk to this other motherfucker I know. But maybe after we can go to the pub, or ... I don't know, people go to that tea joint, ain't they doing that? Except I always thought mostly old ladies like them tea joints. No movies, or we could go to one of them ...

[Gamzee's knowledge of what people do on proper dates, besides bring flowers, is almost as limited as Shinra's.] Or we could just walk around and look at shit, if you want. Or ... get something to be putting down our protein chutes? Wherever you want.

[Shinra follows Gamzee's gaze for a moment before quickly looking back up and into the other boy's eyes.] I imagine you could. You do have an brilliantly inventive mind, so I'm sure that whatever you might come up with would be exceptional. [He tilts his head slightly, smiling thoughtfully as he slowly reaches out to place his hand over Gamzee's.]

But really, I'll be perfectly happy as long as you're there.

[The taller boy's cheeks actually color - he's still surprised, quite a lot of the time, by how much Shinra seems to think of him, and he's not always sure what to do with it. Most people, even the people that really like Gamzee, tend to see him as a little daft or at least off on some other planet, which is often viewed as endearing but not exactly attractive. Shinra, on the other hand, seems to actually see this as a desirable trait, and it leaves the Slytherin feeling flustered and uncertain and weirdly, stupidly happy and scared all at the same time.]

Damn, you're about the sweetest thing I ever had on my tongue. [Gamzee says it without any intention to be lewd, just soft and a little shy, as his thumb traces over the back of Shinra's hand.] Me, too. I mean, I'll have all the joyous hallelujahs up in my pump biscuit when you be there with me.
