[She's quiet, then, for a long while, letting him cling to her. The only sound in the ward is the quiet ticking of the grandfather clock on the other side of the room, but eventually, she lightly brushes his hair from his forehead and looks at his face]

There's nothing to talk about. It's just that he was here and gone again. That's all there is to it.
