So like. i think i've decided I'm pretty bad at dealing with people forever. especially girls. I mean seriously, I like girls and all, they're wonderful and sweet and beautiful to look at both inside and out.
but i just dont think im any good at/with/for girls.

any girls got advice for like.

I said that I was sorry she didnt find out about Arts dating me first before everyone else. cuz she seemed upset about it. and that i didnt intend it to turn out that way i just was really hyped up about things and wanted to be proud of being in a relationship and stuff.
wasnt to spite her. really it wasnt.
and she started crying...

[There's a few strike-outs and inkblots that start to smear the page, before finally:]

What the hell were you thinking!? Did the thought never pass through your bloody empty head that she'd have liked to hear it from Arthur first!? Did you even ask Arthur's permission to broadcast his personal life to the entire castle either, because if he said yes than that's not the Arthur I know. A relationship isn't something you parade around; it's a two-way thing that requires give and take but it's clear that the only one first and foremost on your mind when you made that bloody announcement was yourself!

[He fumes. He's mad, and Alfred's guilt and repentance isn't helping. Thankfully, he does the right thing here and takes a step back from the journals. Even as mad as he is at this moment, he does register Alfred's confession and apology. And maybe that's what makes him even angrier, because he can't lash back at him.

Around an hour later he replies back to Alfred's entry, more muted than before.]

If you'd like to make it up to her, buy her some sweets and give them to her face-to-face. Take that moment to apologize, and apologize properly.

[Alfred's spent the whole hour of time beating himself up over all this, so he's not exactly bright and cheerful with his writing. It's more of a quick scrawl than anything, and it comes some 20 or so minutes later when he realizes he's finally been replied to.]

i'll do that. yeah.

Good. Make sure you do that.

And don't hurt her ever again.

I dont plan to hurt anyone anymore.

[It's like having his own words being thrown back at him. For a moment he stares, lips pulled into a frown.]

Look, it was a stupid mistake, but it's not like you went all out to trample on her heart or anything. Just...think things through a little more.

[Ten seconds, and then:]
And I'm sorry I snapped. I over-reacted.

I get it it was dumb and all and I'll think it through next time. Promise.

Don't um. dont worry about apologizing, man. I figure you were in the right for actin that way. I'm the wrong party here.

You were wrong, but I was out of line. Victoria and Arthur are both my good friends and I don't like see them upset, so I got heated up over things and blew it out of proportion a little.

Arthur's choices are his and I'll leave it to him to decide what to do with his life, but you better treat him right.

Are we clear, Jones?

[There's a pause, but not because he's hesitant to answer. More because this is just...weird compared to their previous conversation.]

We're clear, man. i'm going to do the best I can to treat him right no matter what. I've been trying to set things better for a while now. this is just my chance to prove I care about him. Id never waste it.

[And that's all he leaves, because to be quite honest he doesn't exactly trust Alfred at all. He just trusts Arthur's decisions. But he'll be keeping a closer eye on Alfred from now on.]
