Has anyone read the Grimm Fairytales? I've always been quite fond of them; as a kid I found the story of the Strange Violinist rather interesting.

It makes me want to learn how to play. Perhaps I'll teach myself.

[He admits. There is no imagined reason to fear the rather crazy man. Just the simple fact that he exists far beyond Sherlock's ability to deduce.]

[A look of utter disgust attaches itself to his face. His voice was quiet, at least he was giving him the dignity to keep any curious listeners out of their business.]

[Sherlock wasn't sure how exactly he was meant to do that so he walked up close to him, in that unmade personal bubble, and looked down at him, meeting his stare completely.]

[He didn't back down, instead he leaned even closer, already enjoying this game of chicken.]

Oooh, you don't disappoint me in keeping things interesting.

[He liked it, this game, it was already fun.]

[Sherlock sighed through his nose.]

You can do whatever you like, Jim, and it won’t make any difference to me. Any “extreme” reactions I may have exhibited in the past have been dealt with.

[Moriarty kept the locked stare, his grin fading into something more serious.]

[He brought a hand up to rest against where Sherlock's heart would be if it weren't hidden behind layers of clothes.]

[Sherlock stood straighter still, reaching up to grab Moriarty’s wrist and take his hand off him.]
