There Has Been An Alarming Rise In The Number Of Patients I Am Seeing Who Have Gained Injuries Thanks To Venturing Too Close To The Forest.
May I Please Remind You, My Dears, That It Is Given The Title Of 'Forbidden' For A Reason.
I Would Hate To See Anyone Severely Hurt.
With That Said I Would Like To Ask A Favour Of Any Herbology Students Willing To Give Me A Little Of Their Spare Time.
I Am In The Process Of Cultivating Several Cuttings From A Flitterbloom And Would Appreciate Any Assistance As It Is Not Something That I Have Attempted Before.
Any Professors Are Also Very Welcome But I Think That You All Have Quite Enough Work!
As Ever The Hospital Wing Is Open To All Of You.
You Do Not Need To Be On Deaths Door In Order To Come And Speak With Me.

[And of course, Eridan actually loiters a little bit, but it's not on purpose. He's just had a lot on his mind, some of it... he might end up talking about a bit. He's not sure at the moment.
Either way, he finally makes it over, knocking on the door and waiting.]

Eridan. What a pleasure it is to see you.

Good afternoon ma'am.

Now, haven't I told you that you can call me Dolores?
[Honestly, he's as bad as his father. Is she going to get a hug this time?]
no subject
Sorry ma--Dolores. I'm just so used to bein' as respectful as I can to those of higher authority an' such.
[ At least you know he's easier with the hug this time, since he's also missed her affection
and missed being mama'd. He certainly isn't as shy towards the hug, even if he's naturally awkward at hugs.]I'm sorry I hawen't been around as much.

[She smiles again and hugs him warmly, stroking one hand gently over his hair. Most of the students that seem most attached to her are naturally awkward at hugs, so it's no a thing that bothers her.]
You don't need to apologise for that, my dear. You're here now, are you not?
argh this wasnt in my inbox and i thought i replied to it ;A;
[Ahh, man he's missed that. He's missed just being coddled and all that by her, even if he sometimes brushes it off as if he doesn't enjoy it. At least after a few more moments it's not as awkward from his end.]
I am. And I'we got a couple of things that I kinda... would like to talk about. Sorta. I-If you'd like to talk. I guess.
[Huff.]
Omg that icon is so cute
Of course I'd like to. Come and sit down, I'll get you something to drink.
Heeee. I've added a few I particularly enjoy. UwU
Great, great, heheh.
[He's already a tad bit flustered, but at least he's somewhat decent at hiding it. With that, he moves on over to take a seat, then realizes something.]
Oh uh, what do you hawe to drink?
no subject
[She'll not offer him coffee.. she doesn't believe in giving such strong stimulants to young children.]
no subject
Buuut...]
If you can find any pumpkin I'd lowe some, if not then I'll just take a cup of tea.
no subject
[Moving across and into a smaller room set off from the main one, she does in fact find some pumpkin juice and brings it back, offering it to him with a small smile.]
Now, Eridan. What's on your mind?
no subject
A lot of things. For starters, there's the whole spiel with the weddin' comin' up and all and my brother turnin' up from Greece. And ewen when a bit of the drama along the lines of the situation around the weddin' that I kind of... had that huge misunderstandin' with my father, things keep on poppin' up around that ... that well, it's been makin' me upset.
[He doesn't even realize how open-ended that was, since he really has no idea where he was going with that in particular. But, even if that was a vague thing, it felt good to begin to get it off his chest.]
no subject
That sounds like a lot of problems.. Which one is bothering you the most?
no subject
It does, and that's only the surface of what's been buggin' me lately. Currently.... it's really the weddin' that's been buggin' me.
I mean, just recently when he announced the date, he didn't ewen hawe the decency to tell me when it was until he just slapped it on the journals. I finally got him to start informin' me more, ewen if I just... still am not likin' the idea of the weddin' ewen though I know why it needs to be done.
[There's a small delay here, almost as if Eridan is deciding if he wants to tell her this or not, but he goes ahead, volume dropping a little bit.]
...
It's almost frightenin' and I still don't ewen know why it's really all that frightenin' to me.
no subject
Honestly, it was enough to make her want to give him a smack about the head.]
It's a big change in your life, sweetheart. Of course it's frightening.
no subject
[He reaches up and rubs his face, since this converastions already making him anxious and awkward.]

'Least... I hope he is.

[Dolores sighs. She can't help but feel annoyed, and not just with Murdoc but with Sybille and Strider too. All of this is ridiculous and not something that the kids should be having to deal with.
Off in the corner of the room, her three bats start squeaking at each other, distracting her before she can get too far along with feeling irritated.]
Perhaps you should try to talk to him again. If he won't listen to you, you send him to me. I'll talk some sense into him.
[A smile touches her lips as if to assure him that she's joking. She's only half joking.]
no subject
Before he's able to speak, he hears the bats and he has to double-take. ...Squeaking! That catches his own attention for a moment, before he realizes oh right. right. being addressed things. ]
I... I will, or I'll try. I know that it's kind of a runnin' thing between the two of us in which tryin' to talk to each other can be difficult at times.
[Boy does he know that.]
But uh. I really will. And I'll be sure to showe him your way if he doesn't listen.
