Things are much better. Have been much better. I doubt there were a great many concerned but for the few annoying individuals who would not leave well enough alone, I am quite alright. The less said the better, honestly.

I'm not certain what Snow is thinking. Dark Magic like this is not something that could so easily infiltrate Hogwarts. He knows as much. I am beginning to suspect rather than being stupid, he is intentionally trying to hide something.

Far too early to go too far with such speculations. But I will certainly keep good records of these events for future analysis. Jumping to conclusions is the worst we could do in the interim. This makes two attacks in less than a year. There will be more. There can be certainty in that fact alone.

True. But if they were under something like the Imperius Curse would that have ended in them being unaffected by the object in question?

It's not like magic going haywire in the school isn't an every day occurrence but this seems too specific to have been old magic acting up.

If it was via an Imperius Curse, we'd have to rule out it being orchestrated for our benefit. I'm not ready to do that just yet.

But if it was orchestrated for our benefit, the Ministry wouldn't be all over this like ants on jam.

Of course they would be. No one said the Ministry was behind it. And most people are of the opinion that evil for the sake of good is still evil.

That's because most people view the world in a black and white outlook. Good and evil are relative concepts, there's no in between.

Either way, there's simply too many variables. At this point it could be anything and therefore it may as well mean nothing.
