Things are much better. Have been much better. I doubt there were a great many concerned but for the few annoying individuals who would not leave well enough alone, I am quite alright. The less said the better, honestly.

I'm not certain what Snow is thinking. Dark Magic like this is not something that could so easily infiltrate Hogwarts. He knows as much. I am beginning to suspect rather than being stupid, he is intentionally trying to hide something.

Far too early to go too far with such speculations. But I will certainly keep good records of these events for future analysis. Jumping to conclusions is the worst we could do in the interim. This makes two attacks in less than a year. There will be more. There can be certainty in that fact alone.

I'm glad you're doing much better too, after all that.

How quickly and severely do you think attacks like this will escalate? I know that wars take a while to die out even after they're officially declared over, but this is a terrible sign if the peace is already so shaky.

One man's crusade is hardly a race's war. There's a lot that doesn't add up, though. It's simply too hard to tell just yet. But two instances in a handful of months doesn't sound random; it sounds planned.

They’re attacking students which is the odd thing. Attacking people’s children when they’re away is a fine tactic but the only thing you are guaranteed by attacking Hogwarts is that all Wizard children of an age are affected—there is no way to really focus only on the mud muggle born. It seems much more like an attack on wizard born given their chosen locale and the statistical probability of Hogwarts housing far more children from wizard families. That is why we teach Muggle studies and not Wizard studies—there is simply a much greater need given the population’s majority.

But then why is a Wizard attacking other wizard children? You see? It’s personal, surely, but that just makes it all the harder to reason out.

But if you think this is one person's doing, and that it's personal, doesn't that mean someone within the school has to have done it? If it's happened here and at camp, then it'd have to be someone who can be at those places without raising suspicion, right?

I wasn't at the camp, however, and everyone was invited to the memorial. There's still no real way to narrow it down. We need another instance.
