What qualities do you find attractive in another person? Romantically or otherwise.

Perhaps it's a regional phenomenon. Where are you from?

I'm from Greater Manchester but I meant that I grew up as a muggle. And in that world, I suppose, there are a lot of music based on love, heartbreak, and what happens when you're in a relationship.

Ah. I'm not familiar with music from either source. But I suppose it might be a way to express oneself without having to be of a creative or poetic nature.

When you do, you'll have to listen to them one day!

Some of them could get very corny or very cheesy! You don't really need to have that kind of nature but you certainly have to be very driven to work with music.

I have taken to eavesdropping on the music club, but I'm not sure that what they play is what one might consider mainstream.

Driven? Why is that?

Hm...I haven't been to the music club yet but anything could be considered mainstream if there's enough attention for it.

In my world, there's a huge industry on music so you have to be really motivated to stand out from the others. However, what is considered good can vary.

Well, I suppose competition's a matter of all creative fields. But my area is science, where the output of one's creativity can be objectively measured.

Then I think I have the perfect song for you! There's a song called she blinded me with science, it's both a romantic and scientific song!

And some of the instruments that were made by computers too! At least, that's what it sounded like.

There's a bunch of other songs about science too but they're usually for education purposes.

Educational purposes? I thought songs were intended to convey emotions or stories.

Usually but sometimes songs are used to make studying a little bit easier!

They're also really corny and cheesy too but it does help!

If you find them on the internet, there are plenty. Although there are some on the television if you watch some programs for kids.

I suppose the only other way would be to visit the muggle world or have someone bring in stuff from that world and explain it!

I can't imagine they'd be too happy about my spending time unsupervised in the muggle world. Perhaps someone else will sing for me.

I wonder does anyone in the music club know any songs from my world...

I guess I don't have much of a choice but to go ask.
