I have the best idea ever for something to give us an edge for our next Quidditch game. I just need to get it approved from the higher ups.

Oh yes, it will be awesome.

Anyways, this dance thing is coming up. I'm not really too big on dressing up but the Yule celebrations here are always a great time. I think I might go with a purple dress this year. I wonder if everyone else will have dates? I'd hate to go solo and be stuck being bored.

It's nothing that needs "pulled off" per say. You'll see!

Besides, I'm not even sure if we'll be allowed to do it so until I find out for sure it's nothing to worry about just yet.

As it happens, I am going to have a date this time.
But you're not worried about dates being manditory, are you? Robinson and I did think that was a serious possibility last year, but I've since talked to Professor Mercer and she said we didn't have anything to worry about.

Our concern wasn't over being alone at the dance. We felt we had reason to suspect that the dance was -in fact- secretly part of exams and finding a date was the passing criteria.

And I think you're right. You probably would look very good in purple. [He is basing this on absolutely nothing.]

Yeah, that's what I usually do. I don't really worry about stuff like this much but for once it'd be kinda cool to be able to plan stuff WITH someone ahead of time.
