Valentine's Day is coming up in a few weeks, so I feel like it's worth asking some romance related questions. Mostly, I ask now because I'm sure I'll be busy later. I'm mostly curious.

Do you believe in love at first sight or true love? I'm not going to ridicule your answer, that would hardly be professional. Me? I can't believe such sentiments, as nice as they sound. [She'd love to believe that, but Rose was much too cynical for such rubbish. There's a lot of reasons as to why, but she isn't going to talk about those. Ever.]

If you're with someone and expecting them to do something for the occasion, what would you be expecting? I suppose I'm asking what your ideal would be. Just chocolate and flowers or the whole ten yards?

Its probably about the only form of reckless behavior that i dont support.
But yes it is done quite often in my experience. And generally ends badly.
Ah... I guess you could say as much yes.

It just seems unfair to expect a certain outcome out of someone.
No one can really predict the future and personally if im going to spend time with someone im much happier to just enjoy their company than to expect something to happen in a certain way.

I suppose that is true. You don't have something that really tickles your fantasy? Say, they take you to your favorite restaurant or buy you a favorite of some kind.

And hell it may not be the smartest course of action but...
You know if two people are really that gungho into each other i say what the hay let them have their reckless courtship.

Well everybody has their likes and dislikes naturally!
Suppose if i absolutely had to choose it would probably involve some form of a moviegoing and a simple dinner. Nothing fancy im not really big on fancy schpiels. But a movie enjoyed by both to follow a good meal seems like an enjoyable time to me.
Of course thats also my generalized idea of a good evening spent with friends so perhaps im not wellsuited to make decisions for this romantic mumbojumbo.

Moviegoing! I do not watch films much. It wasn't a particular activity I got into, but I've been so interested of it as of late. Muggle films especially look so interesting, but I can honestly say I've never watched any. What are they like?
What you like is still important. You wouldn't want to do something you don't want to do on a date I would assume.

Is there a specific way to decide choosing a movie to watch?

There are action films which are my favorite comedies romance drama and quite a good many others.

[Rose will be waiting patiently at the Great Hall for Jake. She isn't put off at all. She just wonders if this is actually going to happen or if he's just pulling her leg.]

[He's worked himself into quite a nervous fit by the time he makes it to the Great Hall. His hair has always been a messy force to be reckoned with, but now it sticks up all sorts of comically, making it obvious how many times he's carded his hands through it in vague distress. As he approaches her he tries to smooth it flat.]

It started out as such-- I mean, I met you the summer of first year, when I came home with Dirk and met the whole lot of you. And back then it wasn't anything in particular, you were Dirk's sweet little sister with the pretty lavender eyes, and you were already worlds smarter than me. [He makes a bit of a face at himself.] ...or, I don't know, perhaps looking back on it I was stricken by your looks from the get-go. And there was a definite allure when you were sorted into Slytherin-- it's hardly why I fancy you, but it added a level of mystery to you that made me want to maintain the fragile awkward friendship we'd forged in lieu of you being the younger sister of my best friend.
