Let's talk about dreams today.
And by that, I felt the need to talk about mine in specific.
It was fantastical and surprising. All of us were muggles! Well, I mean, those who were in my dreams. Some of us were trolls even. It was so very odd. We played a game that destroyed our worlds and we played even when we were meant to fail. I have it all written down. Every event of my dream. It would take much too long to talk about on here, but it made me wonder quite a bit.
Do you believe in alternate worlds? Universes? A time where you were something else completely. Perhaps you were a mere human with no magic to you. Or perhaps a god.
Have you ever had dreams where you felt that there was some truth to them before?

Getting your hopes up for something like that and having them dashed like a fallen souffle is always the worst!

You learn to take it with stride, although it can be frustrating.

I'd rather figure things out with cold hard facts.
The possibility that I might discover something that in and of itself might not entirely be true is frustrating as all get out.

Perhaps divination classes should be taught in a way to have minds be more open to the possibilities than to actually try and teach students the true essence of it.
I am biased for it's teachings though as I have rather strong feelings towards it.

I mean, I was always interested in baking and cooking, so the potions thing isn't too surprising!
Divination just seems so abstract in comparison.
Perhaps that's another reason I'm no good at it.

I am under the impression that I have certain talents for it. Maybe not fully realized, but I think I can safely assess that I have future endeavors with this type of magic.
But it certainly isn't something everyone is gifted with.

I wish I could see the future in regards to a few things in particular.
But perhaps that's not what that sort of magic should be used for, hoo hoo.

Even if you can see glimpses of the future, nothing is quite set in stone. You only are given so much to work with. Most of it is interpretation and some guessing work as to what you see means. You'll never truly see anything clear enough.
Divination is a complex branch. It takes a well trained mind to understand what you're given when actually given something.

I mean, for things one doesn't want, moreso.
At least, um. In the case of romantic things, that is.
I can't imagine people like being told you saw them kissing them in a vision.
It'd be a little jarring.
[And yes, that may or may not have been the thing she was wondering about predicting.]
no subject
I can't say the same for me as I never really looked into it myself.
I have studies that I rather concentrate on and more important things than to look into the future of what might be my romantic life.
Needless to say, I'm fairly surprised when anyone has interest me passed the surface.
[Even if she used what Divination powers she had at hand, it would have just frustrated her. She has grown up with enough stares as her natural beauty. The life of those that even have a fraction of Veela in them. She kind of disliked it a bit.]

You're a catch, believe me.
Jake is lucky.
And of course you're lucky to have Jake!
Everyone is lucky!
[EXCEPT HER. HAHAHAHA.]
Maybe the divination part of it would be awkward, though, yes!

I grew up in a situation where the only thing interesting about me was my status and my face. My sharp tongue didn't really make me someone alluring apparently.
A lot of suitors don't seem to like a girl that talks back and questions their intelligence.
[Veela problems.]
It would probably be awkward. It also kills the romantic part of the romance if you know what's to come.

Not that my opinion matters so much, I suppose.
And while I know you're right, I do wish I could be reassured that there's something out there, sometimes.
But I guess I'd also worry that there'd be nothing to be seen, too.
