Steadily, I'm falling under the idea that many people use the Doubling Charm to be cheap. Why would you duplicate your cup instead of just buying a second one? It's just going to decay over time. The origin of it is reasonable enough and I understand the practical and strategic uses, but from my studying, it seems most people misuse it. Maybe that's just "muggle" of me.

Also, after going over the duties and the time requirements, I'm thinking of becoming a prefect.

It's not a bad idea. They shouldn't be borrowing things without asking in the first place, so it's fair to booby-trap things in case they do. Especially, if they have a history of taking things.

There's a fair amount of history of that with some students in this house.

We're lucky that we don't share a fridge with food.

I'm just lucky that the stairs to the girls dorms are charmed, or else he might want back some of the books I've taken from him.

It would, it's bad enough that you can't touch half the cauldrons, even if they look empty.
