DRIVE OUT AND KILL THE WEAK.
not just the sentient ones.
DISCRIMINATION IS BUILT INTO A WOLF PACK.
i would argue that it is sentience that allows us to either fine tune our ability to see differences
OR INFORM US THAT BLOOD IS BLOOD, IT'S ALL THE SAME BEAUTIFUL COLOR.
i take it you've never seen a
PROPER PARLIMENT
then, not simply a group of birds living and hunting together.

THEY'RE HUGE GATHERINGS, OF MORE THAN JUST A HUNTING GROUP.
hundreds of ravens, all watching
ONE IN THE CENTER.
the central raven walks around, and quarks at the others.
WHO KNOWS WHAT RAVENS SAY TO EACH OTHER?
but he or she will talk for some time,
UNTIL IT'S OVER.
Then the other ravens either all fly off to wherever they'd come from
OR THEY TEAR THE SPEAKER TO SHREDS.
it's a curious thing.
