Writing something in there sounded like a lot more fun than trying to catch up on assignments after missing so much school. He hasn't a clue of what to say, so he just rolls with the first thing that comes to mind.]}


I can't wait for the school year to end.
It's getting ridiculously difficult to keep up with all of my assignments, especially knowing that in September, I start at Hogwarts.
Regular school work is boring in comparison to the idea of learning magic.
Plus, summer will be awesome for reasons.

[Dirk's laugh is so infectious. He can't remember hearing anyone laugh that much in a long time. Especially not someone with the last name of Strider. And it feels good to hear it. After dealing with so much shit, it was nice to hear Dirk laugh. And he might've been chuckling along with Dirk, but... only ironically, of course. He keeps up the movement of his fingers, showing no signs of stopping.]
