no i havvent been neglectin my journal
ivve been awware of happenins goin on from wwhat i can tell and i havve been takin note of wwhat wwill be due at the start of the year
i just havvent been puttin it to myself to actually wwant to wwrite somethin
plus i havve been busyin myself wwith the assignments to get them out of the wway unlike some people wwho wwill remain unnamed for obvvious reasons

[He throws his hands up for dramatic flare, then pulls them back to rub his face. After a moment of doing so, he slowly looks up, staring him down.]

If it helps any, I didn't know I had daughters until less than a week ago. [He throws Eridan one of those 'my life is worse than yours' looks and threads his fingers together, thinking on it.]

Your goldfish didn't run away, Eridan. Goldfish can't walk. It died and Nan flushed it away.

Oh. [He gets a slightly sympathetic look, mainly because wow how do you even not know and why...wait.] ... How... old are are my sisters?

And ... Thank you for that, it's been plaguin' my mind since I remember it "runnin' away". [Anyway, sarcastic attitude aside, the boy pauses, quietly adding: ] Ahab was a good goldfish, okay?
