Camp was okay, minus the lumpy beds and that food fight. Muggle schools don't even do that, it's like something out of a film.

Papa said that I can't go to London with him while the muggles do their sports event. He's going on business and thinks I'll get lost in the crowds. Having muggle parents can be frustrating because I can't ask him to take me to the Quidditch World Cup instead, and just trying to change Pounds to Galleons is hard enough.

I don't think I can stretch out what's left of my homework either, it's almost complete. I could just spy on the neighbors.

My brothers and the dogs start up food fights all the time, but I wouldn't have expected one at camp.

You could try watching the Olympics on TV instead. The UK seems to be doing well in the medal tally.

I don't know whether you'd get fresh air in London during the games; your father is right when he says it's crowded, and the number of cars in the city don't really help.

If you need something interesting to read, I'd recommend some books for you.

Nothing silly like those awful muggle teen books. I don't mind historical biographies or educational books.

If there's a wizarding book store nearby, you could try looking for "Practical Defensive Magic and its use against the Dark Arts". It's a set of books that has pretty good illustrations on the different hexes and counter jinxes, it's a practical book, one that will definitely help you in your upcoming school year.
