I'm can't wait for school to start again. When I'm home, Mother worries so much, even though I tell her I've been perfectly safe at school. I know she means well, of course, but I'm getting bored.

I was wondering if anyone would like me to make them something! That would be a nice way to pass time. I draw and make candles and pottery and knit and sew and, well, all sorts of things!

I'm a fifth year Hufflepuff! It's a really great house.

Everyone from Hufflepuff seems very friendly.

We are kind of known for it, I think.

So, are you hoping to get into a certain house?

It would be nice to be in Gryffindor with my brother, but I do not think the hat will find that to be a good match.

Most tell me I would be suited for either Ravenclaw or Slytherin.

Oh, well, that's okay! Ravenclaw and Slytherin are lovely houses, too. I don't really believe what people say about Slytherins.

I have heard some rumors about them, but I do not like trusting other peoples opinions.

If one person listens to another person's opinion and it becomes their own they warp it ever so slightly. When they pass it along to the next it becomes even more warped until it becomes a shadow of the truth. I do not wish to be a link on that chain.

Oh... Yes, I guess I can understand that.

Just like I do not believe the opinion that all Hufflepuffs are useless and pushovers. The fact that you can do all of these things, especially without magic, prove that you are not useless.

And I know for a fact that kindness does not equal weak-willed.

As a friend I wish to reciprocate the gift. I have very few skills, but there is a rather quaint muggle shop in town with hand made goods.
