001 Important Questions

Am I the only one that questions what people were thinking as they made the first wands? Or Brooms? Or anything else for that matter? Who just woke up one morning and went "Wow, I think creating a wand would be a mighty fine thing to do?"

I mean, I guess that question kind of goes for any sort of invention, huh? I don't think I want to know what the first guy that discovered milk was thinking. This would be a thing I'd think about researching but I really don't want to end up thoroughly squicked out.

Are these seriously things no one thinks about?

I wouldn't worry about that.

I think that we've probably been drinking milk long enough as a species to have adapted to it. So you shouldn't be suffering any ill effects.

Unless you're lactose intolerant. That is a possibility.

I'm not sure. I don't think they documented it.

But it was probably some form of milking.

The point is, though, what causes someone to do the strangest things to sort things out?
'I'm going to use a magical spirit tree stick to do magic.'
'I'm going to milk an cow and decide that's totally something I'd drink.'

There are some freaky people out there, thinking some weird stuff. When does it hit someone to try these things, you know? Like Stark, creating all that awesome stuff.
