Everyone naming their goats is making me wonder something...

Do you ever wonder about your own names? Like...where they came from?

I mean, I'm Scottish, but my last name is French. And I don't even know what Xion is supposed to be. Sometimes I wonder what my parents were even thinking when they called me that.

And, well, you know I'm half-Scottish half-Irish. My last name is related to a legendary medieval Welsh enchantress. Explain that to me :\

I think it's nice that your mother wanted to make a tribute to her friend so much it didn't even matter if her child was the wrong gender for her name. I've never thought of naming a child after a friend before.

Well I dont really wonder about my name? It sounds pretty run of the mill for an American. Alfred Jones? Xion sounds like something out of the bible or something though if I'm being honest.
