in light of recent events i would like to submit a formal apology to every one i have ever offended
i would also include a gift baskit and a hug but as half my offenses include touching and that im not sure i can afford a basket for everyone in the school i dont think that is going to work
so the best i can do is aknowledge that yes i am a bad person and say that i am sorry
and that i promise to do everything in my power to not be a bad person
even if this means sitting on my hands in a corner of the classroom with my mouth tied shut
and even then i am not sure if that will be enough
maybe i should include chains
and manacles
or a shock collar
oh wait no those dont work at hogwrts

Maxim, I think I can safely say that there is absolutely nothing wrong with you. And if your mother raised you, I don't think she could be a bad person either.

Unless there's something wrong with me as well. The high inquisitor did deduct house points because of something I said. And gave me detention. But then Professor Leijon awarded house points, so I'm not sure of what to think.

Everyone has been telling me not to talk to the Inquisitor, but I don't think he really understands what happened to us at camp and I do think someone should explain it to him.

i think he understands perfectly what happened at camp to be honest
but sometimes people do not tell the truth for their own benefit
a lot of people are going to be scared now and that gives him power over us
even i am afraid

Because I do know that a lot of people can be very bad, but you really aren't one of them. In fact, you're remarkably helpful.

How would he benefit from hiding what happened at camp? If anything, you would think he'd want to better understand what happened since it does have the potential to endanger the ministry. I was talking to Pyrope about it and she said that whatever was cast on us may have just been a dry run.

well you guys just got off that wizarding war with that moldytorte guy right? so if there was dark magic fussing with the kids it could cause mass hysteria so its better to pretend nothing happened and deal with it in secret than to have things spread out of control
its politics and crowd control
vans family does a lot of this when we jaegers get out of hand back home

when you and a bunch of friends do something bad like break a window while playing quidditch in the backyard
you all agree that it wasnt your fault and find something to blame it on
and then you tell everyone this story even people who know otherwise
because consistency helps make a lie seem more like the truth

I don't think it's like that at all. That would be like when I told Professor Donoghue and Professor Matteris that Gamzee had narcolepsy to keep them from taking house points from him. Because Gamzee always knew he didn't actually have narcolepsy, so it wasn't hurting him at all. Telling us that nothing happened while we were at camp would be like if I'd told Gamzee he did have narcolepsy. I'm not sure this analogy makes any sense.

In any case, I am taking Professor Wulfenbach's class, so that might help to make sense of this.
