I'm not sure if anyone else has been having this issue with their goats, but Zazzerpan has been following me around and bleating very insistently for quite a while now and I'm getting to be very worried about him. I know that I've been feeding him sufficiently and I've checked him for injuries or possible disease a number of times, so I'm really not sure of what could be wrong.

Any input or suggestions would be much appreciated.

I do spend quite a lot of time with him, but I think he just bleats more when I'm around.

Do you think he might dislike me?

Is he headbutting you and trying to eat your clothes? Or biting you?

No. He hasn't been violent at all. He just bleats a lot.

[speterman]

Then he likes you. Sit down, give him some head pats and some carrots.

I'm glad you think so. I was starting to worry about that.

How have you and Nova been getting on?

[speterman]

A lot better since I broke out the carrots and such, Hulk and I get on pretty well too!

I'm very glad to hear that! Have she and Hulk become friends?

I've been wondering if I should be trying to get Zazzerpan to interact with the other goats. That might make him happier.

[speterman]

... No, that's, uh, not something that's happened.


Maybe he is happy?

Do she and Hulk not get on? I could see how she might be slightly intimidated, given Hulk's size; especially in relation to the other goats.

He might be happy, but it would be nice to know for sure.
