So... Has anyone else noticed some... uh, well, weird things going on, because um. There are some pretty weird things going on right now. Like a lot of weird things.

Right, anyway.

Why do we bake 'cookies' and cook bacon? I mean, come on, you think we could have named things better here.

I'm so done. I just spoke to two goats, watched one of my best friends turn into a girl and called him pretty. I'm done. Look how done I am.

Uh... thanks. I guess.

................ What goats?

[Sighs and runs a hand through her hair, frowning when it gets caught because hello LENGTH.]

Maybe I should camp out by the fire in the common room...

Yeah, you're welcome, it's a compliment. I think. This is weird. I haven't slept properly in a couple weeks, I'm knackered and I still called one of my best guy friends pretty. Oh my god.

Zazzerpan and uh, Cabra.... Zazzerpan knew my name, Bruce. He. Knew. My. Name.

[He raises an eyebrow.]

In the common room, where everyone can get at you? Just take my bed, Pillow will wake you up if anyone gets near you. Actually, I'm not quite sure where she got off to. I'll camp out in the common room, or something.

... Did you go around introducing yourself to all the goats you headbutted or something?

[Fidgets.

I can't do that, you haven't been sleeping right as it is. Seriously I'll be fine, plenty of people just fall asleep by the fire anyway. If I cover myself up in a blanket they'll just wave it off like normal.

...I didn't tell them my name though!

[Shifts uncomfortably.]

If something happened to you, it would be my fault. Not going to have that on my shoulders, I have enough of that, okay? Just take my bed. One more night of horrible sleeping won't kill me.

[Smiles.]

And besides, I can catch Bonnibel for breakfast.

[Raises brow at.]

Ravenclaw tower isn't exactly reknown for students attacking each other at night.

[Smiles a bit at the mention of Bonni.]

You're pretty sweet on her huh...

Yeah, I mean. I'll be fine. A lot of weird stuff is going on and I don't want anything bad to happen to you if it's a possibility.

[He falls quiet and looks to the ground before he scratches the back of his neck.]

Yeah. Well, uh, I mean, I don't know. She's amazing.

[Frowns at.]

I might be a girl on the outside but it's still me. I can take care of myself.

[Headtilts at and crosses arms, thoughtful look on face.]

Tried telling her that?

[Stubborn look.]

If you do then I'm sleeping out there too. So, if you really want to ruin both our sleep, then fine.

[He goes quiet for a long moment.]

I might've, well, um, said something along those lines, and uh, kissed her.

I could always just magic you onto your bed and force-feed you a sleeping draught.

[Raises brow at.]

And how did she react?

You could. But you're not going to.

Well she didn't slap me, if that's what you were wondering. She might have kissed me back- Why do you care?

Don't tempt me into proving you wrong.

[Blinks innocently.]

I guess I'm more inquisitive as a girl - besides, didn't you want me to be a girl so you could talk about this with me?

But now it's weird. Because you're actually a girl. [Sigh]

I mean, kissing is a good thing, right?

Usually, yeah. If she didn't slap you or tell you to back off I mean.

No, she didn't do either of those things... We hung out a bit ago and I got her flowers and she really liked them... And I think she had fun..

Just, what if I mess up or something?

Then you apologize for the mistakes you make. [Shrugs]

It's impossible not to make mistakes, right?

She's really amazing though, and I'm really... not. And she's going to realize that very quickly.

That's no way to think. If you have to go on like that, then at least try to enjoy it while it lasts.

What's that supposed to mean, if I have to go on like this? I'm no Tony Stark.

I thought you liked Tony? No, I meant if you insist on being pessimistic about your future with Bonnie.
