I'm sorry to see that so many of you have had such weird things happening. I've actually been having a pretty awesome few days.

Some of my classes were cancelled.

Quidditch practice has been going amazingly. I swear I've been flying faster than ever the past few weeks!

I also got a letter from my parents letting me know that we'll be going back to America for Christmas this year!


Is it true that some people have died? I heard that rumor going around and I really hope that it's not true. Even if it's just the castle being weird and this being a temporary thing that has to be really disturbing.

Oh man.. so it was like if you get embarrassed by something and inwardly you wish you were dead but not really? That's awful! It's like the castle is the Thought Police or something.

I wonder if that's why my week has been going so good? That I subconsciously wished for things?

Yes, exactly like that! Everyone keeps saying it's probably not permanent because it wasn't a natural death, but I feel that's rather foolishly optimistic. And anyway, I'm still here.

Maybe? Apparently, Tony Stark turned one of the Gryffindors into a girl by subconsciously wishing for it.

I dunno..the castle's done dumb stuff like this before and everything would go back to normal. I think you're the only one I've heard of that's actually died from it though.
...not to be all creepy but what happened to your body? Did they take it somewhere safe at least?

That is true, but death is a little bit harder to just... undo, you know? Though I guess a magical death wouldn't quite be the same as a real death...

Oh, the hospital wing has it. I assume they've put it in a bed or something and are poking at it to figure out exactly what happened. I wonder if they'll try an autopsy.

I know, right? It was Steve Rogers, I think that is who it was. I've not much to do, being dead, so I've kind of been poking at the journals. Still can't manage a quill, unfortunately.

I don't think it would. Maybe you're just kinda being held in like, suspended animation or something.
I mean, do you know if your body has started to decompose yet or not? If it hasn't I think it's a pretty safe bet that it's temporary.

Oh really? Huh. I know he and Tony were friends..I hope this doesn't make it all awkward.
