I'm sorry to see that so many of you have had such weird things happening. I've actually been having a pretty awesome few days.

Some of my classes were cancelled.

Quidditch practice has been going amazingly. I swear I've been flying faster than ever the past few weeks!

I also got a letter from my parents letting me know that we'll be going back to America for Christmas this year!


Is it true that some people have died? I heard that rumor going around and I really hope that it's not true. Even if it's just the castle being weird and this being a temporary thing that has to be really disturbing.

Yes, people have died. At least, one person has died. I don't know about anyone else.

I've no idea... but from what I've seen it looks like they've been hit just as badly as the students.

Well, I didn't think they'd be immune if the castle is acting on it's own again. It really doesn't discriminate.

Who knows..maybe by now it has it's own form of sentience and it just gets bored.

Well..the castle is pretty magical all on it's own. Every once in a while it likes to mess with people or cause weird things to happen.

It's almost always temporary though!

Um... I kind of wished for it? I think? I didn't mean it, I just thought it, and then I was dead. So now I'm a ghost.

Oh man.. so it was like if you get embarrassed by something and inwardly you wish you were dead but not really? That's awful! It's like the castle is the Thought Police or something.

I wonder if that's why my week has been going so good? That I subconsciously wished for things?

Yes, exactly like that! Everyone keeps saying it's probably not permanent because it wasn't a natural death, but I feel that's rather foolishly optimistic. And anyway, I'm still here.

Maybe? Apparently, Tony Stark turned one of the Gryffindors into a girl by subconsciously wishing for it.

Oh yeah, I was just talking to him about that. He's gotta be freaked out. I mean, I know most of us have probably just wanted to die from embarrassment and stuff at some time or another but to have it actually happen?

Maybe that makes you 'weird' for not having anything peculiar happen to you. Though I guess that means I will join the boat because I haven't seen anything too out of the ordinary.

Maybe! I guess I kinda lucked out then or else my good fortune is the weird thing that's happening.

Yeah..Eriq did. He just..suddenly died and became a ghost apparently.

If you become a ghost, do you even notice that you died?

I'm not sure really! Eriq said it just all happened kind of suddenly so maybe it depends on how you died.

On television, people have said that people become ghosts of unfinished business. Or maybe you just become a ghost here as a default.
