I'm sorry to see that so many of you have had such weird things happening. I've actually been having a pretty awesome few days.

Some of my classes were cancelled.

Quidditch practice has been going amazingly. I swear I've been flying faster than ever the past few weeks!

I also got a letter from my parents letting me know that we'll be going back to America for Christmas this year!

Is it true that some people have died? I heard that rumor going around and I really hope that it's not true. Even if it's just the castle being weird and this being a temporary thing that has to be really disturbing.

Me neither. I mean, I love Hogwarts and all but I want to eventually grow up.

Maybe..I'm sure they're probably sick of people asking them that question over the years though. I kinda don't want to be one of those people.

Maybe we should ask the sort who seem like they would not get so many questions.

Hmm..we could always ask the Bloody Baron. He looks pretty darn scary but I bet he has an interesting story to tell.

He does look a bit intimidating but he can't do anything. We may as well go to him, then.

I wonder where we can find him? Doesn't he mostly haunt the dungeons?

I think it is something like that. Does that mean we just go down there or something of the sort?

You know, I'm not sure. I know the entrance to the Slytherin dorms is somewhere down there too. Maybe we should ask one of them where he normally hangs out.

I am a Slytherin but it does not seem like I am being particularly helpful in this case.

Hmm..if you haven't seen him, he must go there late at night when everyone is sleeping or something.
I guess I could try and catch Sir Nicholas or the Grey Lady. Nick would probably help..the Grey Lady is kinda shy though.

I suppose I do not go looking for him. But maybe the Baron is for the better like you suggested. He does not seem like he would get too upset. When do you suppose we bother, then?

Friday maybe? I know someone who talks to the ghosts a lot..maybe we could bring him along and he could help. I'll ask him!

I used to do that a lot actually but I've gotten busy and haven't done it in a while.

Can't say I have necessarily explored, myself. So that doesn't sound all that bad.

And it is school so it does do that. Time off is a good thing, though.

It's a lot of fun! I always did it alone so it'll probably be a lot better with more people.

I sometimes go out on the grounds but that's on my own, as well. I notice that people let their pets wander. Not sure if that is safe. Would not be so bad to have company besides goats or cats or...something like that.

Yeah, there's not a lot around here in the castle that can really hurt them but I imagine outside would be a bad idea.
