[Backdated to September 29th]

I don't know who decided to give Zazzerpan pie, but I would advise against doing it again as he was very sick all over the goat pen. Seeing that it was just a very simple case of stomach upset and since he's feeling much better now, I'm not terribly angry about this. However, it was very concerning for a while and cleaning up after him was very unpleasant, so I really would appreciate it if you would talk to me before feeding my goat. Thank-you.

And to everyone who happened to have Ancient Runes with me yesterday, [inkblot] I'm very sorry you had to see that. It won't happen again. [Another inkblot] Or it won't happen again if I can figure out exactly what happened. I'll look into it at my earliest possible convenience.

[[OOC: Apparently, on September 28th, one Gamzee Makara happened to be speculating on what certain people might look like if they were naked. And then thinking made it so.]]

I'm touched that you feel so strongly about this, but I really don't think anyone was directly responsible for it. At least not intentionally. I can't think of anyone in my Ancient Runes class who would want to mess with me and even if they did, they would probably just hide my belongings in the greenhouses again.

It was a very unusual experience, but ultimately there really isn't anything to worry about.

It really isn't my thing, but as I said, my classmates and professor were surprisingly understanding, so I was able to find [pause] alternative clothing relatively quickly. So ultimately, I think I'm quite well, all things considered.

Are you alright? You're not still upset, are you?

[Of course he's still upset, but Gamzee has noticed that in general people are not okay with him when he's angry about something. If he can hide it, it's better, and he doesn't want to scare off Shinra.]

[And when Shinra does show up, Gamzee will be sitting at one of the desks with a few books spread open in front of him, including his journal. One of them doesn't appear to have anything at all to do with Divination - it's on curses - but the other two are obviously research for homework.]

[It takes Shinra a little while to actually locate Gamzee once he's reached the library -as the library is very big- but when he does spot him, he makes his way over to the desk as quickly as he can -given that one generally doesn't run in a library- and pulls a chair over, whispering excitedly to the other boy as he does so.]

Hello! You weren't waiting long, were you? Finding you in here took some time.

[With that, he moves to perch on his chair, sitting a bit closer than is probably necessary.]

[Gamzee hooks one big foot around the leg of Shinra's chair, pulling the whole thing even closer to him him with a complete lack of propriety. Then he hooks his fingers in the smaller boy's tie, tugs him forward, and kisses him without even his usual greeting. Normally, when Gamzee kisses Shinra hello, it's sweet and maybe even a little shy, or comfortable and friendly. There's something harder about this one, deeper and more demanding and ultimately, quite unmistakably possessive. The Slytherin obviously doesn't care if they'll be spotted and told off for doing it - though really, they should be fine, since he's not bending the Ravenclaw back of the desk and making out with him for twenty minutes or anything.

When Gamzee finally pulls back, there's something harder to read than usual in his dark eyes, but his smile is languid and sly.] Not too motherfuckin' long.

[Shinra just barely manages to stifle a startled yelp as his chair is suddenly pulled forward. He instinctively raises his hands, bracing one against the desk and the other against Gamzee's shoulder in an attempt to keep his balance as well as he can before the other boy takes hold of his tie and pulls him into a kiss.

He freezes momentarily before slowly closing his eyes and moving his hand from the desk's surface to splay it between Gamzee's shoulderblades. There's something about this kiss that's almost consuming and just a bit volatile. It's a bit like brewing potions, in that the smallest factor can make the difference between creating something explosive and something wonderful.

He's more than a little flushed and his pupils are just a bit dilated when Gamzee pulls back, but he peers right up into the other boy's eyes nonetheless, smiling almost serenely.]

I did try to arrive as quickly as I could. How are you?

Better now, lovely. [And indeed, something in him seems to relax a bit at Shinra's reaction, as though he wasn't quite sure what his reception would be. He draws his fingers down the other boy's tie, running it between thumb and forefinger, then leans in to nuzzle at the Ravenclaw's hair briefly, like a friendly cat, before sinking back into his chair.] Ten motherfuckin' times better.

[He lowers his gaze, intently following Gamzee's hand with his eyes as it makes its way down his tie. His own hand idly traces nonsensical patterns over the surface of the Slytherin's robes, pausing momentarily and laughing softly as Gamzee nuzzles into his hair.]

I'm glad to hear that. You did seem rather unsettled earlier, so I was beginning to worry, but I suppose everything's alright now for the most part.

[He shifts as Gamzee settles back into his chair, leaning forward to glance over the assortment of books spread over the desk.]

Are you writing about omens?

Don't get no worry up in your pan about that. I'll take care of it. [Gamzee says, rather mysteriously, then looks down at the books himself.]

Yeah! For the assignment. Except I ain't really getting how come some things know what's going to happen and how come some things don't. Like animals, they be making sense to me, because animals know all sorts of crazy shit what people ain't got their knowledge about. But how do them clouds be knowing? Like, do someone else do the knowing for them? Motherfuckin' miracles. But the sun ain't hardly an omen for nothing, and it's a lot bigger, so how come it don't be telling shit?

[He shakes his head in wonder at the universe, snaking one long arm around Shinra's waist as the other boy leans forward.]

[He turns, peering into Gamzee's eyes once again.]

I'm not sure that's possible. I don't think I can really keep from thinking about you for very long. So, if something's wrong it would be virtually impossible for me to keep from worrying about it. And if there's something you need to look after, I'd be happy to help you with it.

[He smiles amiably before turning back to the books, shifting closer to Gamzee and leaning his head against his shoulder as the other boy's arm makes its way around his waist.]

I think animal knowledge is based mainly on experience or instinct. Although instinct is fascinating in of itself. I know it's mostly a product of the brain stem, I've never really been able to understand how any of that really works.

You can help me by sitting in my lap, babe. [little grin at him, then raising his hand to play with the hair at the nape of Shinra's neck as leans against Gamzee]

What's a brain stem? Is that what the brain be growing up from?

I'm not sure if you're being facetious, but it would be nice.

[He sighs contentedly, moving his hand to rest on the other boy's knee.]

That's essentially it. It's the most primal part of the brain, and the part that connects to the spinal cord, and to the rest of the nervous system. If I'm not mistaken, it's also responsible for most of our base instincts.

Nah, I want to be keeping my face where it is right now. [considers this explanation, while winding bits of hair around his fingers] So like the part what wants sex and food and shit? I guess I must got me a big motherfuckin' stem, then. [thoughtfully]

[He blinks, glancing up at Gamzee somewhat confusedly. However, he keeps from moving too much, as his current position is very, very nice.]

Well... I should hope so. That would definitely be understandable.

[He then decides that moving might not be a bad idea after all and shifts a little closer, pressing himself right against the arm of the chair.]

That's exactly it! Although I'm not sure if your brain stem could be larger than most, but if your base desires are particularly strong, you may be more attuned to the stem than most people.

[Gamzee makes a soft sound of delight at that thought, leaning in to kiss Shinra quickly on the lips, reveling in the fact that he can.]

Exactly motherfuckin' right! My stem is all in tune, it be having rhythms and beats and shit! Which be making a lot of sense, why I can be feeling certain shit what other people maybe ain't be feeling.

[ ... he sniggers, then, because he is still a 15 year old boy, and uses his free hand to squeeze Shinra's thigh, high up, though he stops short of groping the other boy.] Certain good shit.

[He leans up, eagerly returning the kiss before settling his head back on Gamzee's shoulder.]

I've never thought of the brain stem that way, but I suppose you could be right. There is something vaguely rhythmic about our inst-

[He starts slightly, before grinning and turning his head to place a quick kiss on the other boy's neck.]

You're right. You do seem to feel a lot... In a number of ways.

[Gamzee makes a happy back-of-the-throat noise at the kiss on his neck - he always likes those. They seem more adult to him, somehow, maybe because he's seen them more in movies and sex scenes. Not that mouth kissing with Shinra isn't amazing, too ... ]

Oh, babe, I could show you so many ways. [Gamzee promises, with a sly smile.] All the ways I could get your stem thumpin', too. [He squeezes Shinra's thigh again, then rubs the long muscle there suggestively, though it's a little clumsy over the robes.]
