Espresso machines are the devil. Mother got one for a gift, and we use it regularly, but it took a rather ridiculous amount of time to actually figure it out. Still, the tiny colored containers of different flavors are just alluring.

Really, most of the time it took was because she wouldn't let me have the damned instructions. And everything looks like gibberish when you're slightly inebriated. [Trying to get the instruction manual from a drunk woman. Have you tried it before? It's stupid and the hugest time waster.]
