Ah Ha Ha Ha Stayin Alive
Has anyone read the Grimm Fairytales? I've always been quite fond of them; as a kid I found the story of the Strange Violinist rather interesting.
It makes me want to learn how to play. Perhaps I'll teach myself.
Anyone know how to play?

I'm sort of busy with my studies but... perhaps.
no subject
Perhaps.
[He took his cup and pushed the tray towards Sherlock.]

Are you going home this Christmas holiday?
no subject
[A fake smile is aimed in Sherlock's direction before he turned away to pretend to be interested in looking at something across the room whilst sipping his tea.]
Have you ever thought about some of the things people believe to be true, and thought, "I don't think it is"?
no subject
Most of the time. People are idiots and like to believe the most convenient answer. Sort of sad when original thought is noteworthy.
no subject
When someone lies once, it means they'll have no issue doing it again, don't you think? An easy escape, a good excuse, a reason to feel special.
[He was asking questions he knew the answer to. He settled on looking back at Sherlock.]
no subject
And what have I lied about?
no subject
[He grabbed his cup once again, sipping from it.]
no subject
I do have studies to do, Jim. Not classwork but I am involved in my own research.
no subject
Not the lie I was talking about, Sherlock.
"Pray do come and help me; the wolf is killing the sheep"; but no one paid any heed to his cries, nor rendered any assistance.
[Another sip of his tea and then he set it down. Quickly he moved to stand up and slam his hands down on the table, causing a loud bang and for most of the things on the table to clatter. Eyes searching for something in Sherlock's own the whole time. He was a shark, and Sherlock? His prey. Just as if it had never happened before he resigned back to his seat to sip on his tea.]
There is no believing a liar, even when he speaks the truth.
no subject
What is it you want from me, then?
no subject
Don't mess with me.
[He took a deep breath as if he were going to shout again, but let it out and fluttered his eye-lashes at him, looking almost innocent.]
I don't want either of us to be in misery. I won't keep running to protect your sheep if we are. As long as we aren't, I will.
no subject
...I don't like riddles, Jim.
no subject
[His gaze stayed on Sherlock, a coldness behind it that wasn't normally aimed at Sherlock.]
no subject
I don't know what you're talking about. I haven't lied. Of the two of us, I'm the most honest and of that you cannot deny. I've watched you play.
no subject
[His face contorted into shock and fear.]
Please soothe my fears because we both know I haven't. Not to you.
You know how frightened I get sometimes!
no subject
no subject
I'm the more innocent one here, surprisingly. I'm not sure how you managed that one. Bravo.
no subject
We're not friends anymore, are we?
no subject
Can a sociopath have friends?
no subject
Then I suppose one cannot lose what never was.
no subject
[He stands up and leans over the table to Sherlock.]
I scare you.
no subject
I can't read you.
[He admits. There is no imagined reason to fear the rather crazy man. Just the simple fact that he exists far beyond Sherlock's ability to deduce.]
no subject
You got upset that I dated Molly. I watched, it wasn't just jealousy. It was a mixture of very extreme things. That's why I dated her longer. Your reaction was strange. I couldn't figure it out. It was amusing even.
It was never naivete that you didn't push back as hard, it was a lie. You're just like everyone else. Except you make the sociopaths look innocent.
no subject
It was years ago, Jim. It doesn't matter.
