THAT IS ALSO TRUE. BUT THAT IS ALSO UNFORTUNATE.

SHOULD YOU STOP WORKING ON YOUR INVENTION. OR HAVE YOUR PLANS STOLEN FROM YOU. OR YOU DIE, SOMEONE ELSE WILL GET ALL THE CREDIT FOR YOUR HARD WORK. IN REGARDS TO THE LIGHT BULB, NO ONE REMEMBERS DE LA RUE OR THE OTHER 22 INVENTORS BEFORE EDISON.

Well, that's true enough but I also think partial blame goes on what they teach in schools. We're not told about the twenty two other inventors before Edison, just that Edison provided mankind with sustainable light that didn't require being lit by a match.

They invented the electric car a year or so ago. Maybe flying cars will be next!

THAT IS ALSO TRUE. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE TEACHERS TO PROVIDE ADEQUATE AND ACCURATE INFORMATION TO THE STUDENTS.
UNFORTUNATELY TEACHING REFORM IS DIFFICULT, ESPECIALLY FOR MUGGLES.

THAT CERTAINLY WOULD BE NIFTY. THEY HAVE THOSE HIGH SPEED LOCOMOTIVES AS WELL. MAYBE ONE DAY THEY WILL HAVE A NON-MAGIC FLOO NETWORK FOR MORE EFFICIENT TRAVELS.

I've read that all education is pretty much useless until you hit college level, which appears to be true in a lot of cases. Merlin knows I wouldn't know half the things I do if it wasn't for the internet and my own curiosity.

You mean teleportation? That would be cool but I think Muggles are a ways off from it. Teleportation requires sending molecules and gene structure to another location...the concept is rather similar to Apparating actually.

I WOULD BE UNABLE TO SAY FOR CERTAIN. I DIDN'T GO TO MUGGLE SCHOOLS. BUT I CAN'T BE SO SURE. IMAGINE IF YOU WAITED TO LEARN TO READ AND WRITE UNTIL YOU WERE AN ADULT.

AH YES LIKE THAT.
