Does anyone know if a regular repairing charm will work on an invisibility cloak? I got a rip in mine while avoiding everyone.

I don't want to have to ask for a new one just yet. It's got some good invisibility left in it.

I've had it since I was four. I use it a lot.

They're said to be made from Demiguise hair. A regular needle and thread might work.

Maybe the nurses will have a needle I can borrow.

Yeah, but this one is old and it's been in the family for a while.

But if it's in need of repair maybe one of those tailors that's coming to the castle for Yule Ball would know someone who specializes in repairing something like that.

I don't see why it shouldn't, but I've never been very good with charms, so I can't be sure.

How did you come across an invisibility cloak? From what I know, they're quite exceptional.

It's a family thing. My parents thought it could help control my magic.

Did they think not being seen would help you control your magic or does the cloak have secondary effects?

When I was a baby, my magic liked to make me invisible. They figured it would help it manifest in a visible way.
