Alright, that was weird! I just had like, a massive head rush or something. I don't remember coming into this room! And I don't even know whose journal this is, but I guess I got a teacher's journal by accident? I don't even know. But whatever. I hope they don't mind me using it, because I can't find my own.

Which turns into a big ordeal, because when he finally gets back to the Gryffindor dorm, NOTHING OF HIS IS THERE. He spends forever trying to find his stuff, but there's just. literally nothing of his. But he does manage to find candy.

Someone's candy. This is an emergency, he really hopes no one notices. So with that in hand, he goes off to find her and eventually does end up in the Great Hall. The entire time he's been looking for her, he's been randomly calling out,]

[Rose is all dressed for the weather. Little pea coat and she had a scarf that matched her mittens and earmuffs. She might be easy to spot out, given the lavender purple the accessories are. She doesn't know what Bro looks like, but she raises her hand. She understood purple and girl. She isn't sure what the other words are, but she assumes it's her!

She's like five, wow. But Rose slides off the bench she was sitting on, her shoes making a small clack noise as they hit the floor.]

[Oh. He wasn't expecting a little girl. She seemed older, or maybe it was because the ink seemed kind of fancy for a little girl. But when he sees her, he definitely gets the feeling it's her, not even just because responded to his words. It just seems... weirdly fitting.]

[He steps closer to her, and then hands out the box of bertie botts every flavour beans that he ~~stole~~ borrowed.]

[She looks up at him with a large smile as she takes the box. She shakes it and squints at it a little. She's trying to figure what flavor might be what. She then looks back up.]

[Hey, good luck with that. He's been all over these beans since he found out he's a wizard and he can't for the life of him ever predict which flavour is what. He's decided it's impossible, but he loves eating them anyway.]

I like Rose, too. It's pretty. [His bro would probably think he's being so uncool right now, but she's just so adorable and he can't help but play along.]

[She seems to be enjoying it a lot though, so even if his bro thinks he's uncool, he's making a little girl very happy.]

[Well good. A little girl is making him happy, too. So they're definitely even, even if it's totally uncool.]

[He lets her take charge, allowing her to pull at his arm without any resistance, even letting out a small laugh... Which fades away when she speaks. That sad smile is really... well, sad. It hurts him somewhere in his chest and it's a weird feeling, because nothing's ever really gotten to him like that. Oh no, she's worming her way into his heart... How did that even happen?]

Then I'm sure he'll come back soon! Because you're awesome and very good. He'll be back before you know it!

[Rose has no idea where she's going! But the fact that she seems to really like the castle makes up for it. She seems completely entranced by everything they walk passed.]

It is fine if he not come back soon. I know he much busy for me! [She swings their arms happily.] I'm going to be the best for him! I learning dancing and riding. And fencing! Mamam make sure of it!

If that's true, then like I said, he'll totally come back soon! You're working hard, so he can't stay away. Besides, how could anybody be too busy for your? Everybody should make time for you.

[He seems intrigued by everything she's telling him, so after a moment he continues.]

We could use sticks! But the weights are not good. Fencing swords have specific weights and sticks are not much flexible.
