No. [He laughs lightly, holding her just a little tighter so she knows some random ass dragon isn't going to swoop in and eat her.] It's kept quite securely in the depths of the bank, I don't imagine it will ever leave. [He says knowingly as the 4th wall crumbles around him.]

[She clings to him, squealing a bit. He will protect her if one happens to try, anyways!] Does it get lonely down there? It sounds much lonely! [Being meta is metal.]

[God damn, she's making him miss having adorable babies. Teens are so much less gratifying to dote on.] I would imagine it does, but I'm not sure that it minds. I don't think dragons are all that social- [He cuts off.] Wasn't I telling a story?

No need to apologise, it's quite easy to be sidetracked. Dragon are fascinatin', afterall. So many different breeds.. did you know there's an Irish variety that- Ah. Nevermind. The story!

Anyway! As it happened, this particular witch had a special variety of mind control! The poor goblins were none the wiser as she lead them down to the dark caves in which the vaults are kept. The witch, you see, had a particular vault in mind. But I bet you'll never guess what was in it!

[She's going to get so many books on dragons. SO MANY BOOKS.]

I cannot guess! Will you tell me? Do I get to know? She is bad for doing that though! Much bad!

She is! She's a terrible, awful person as most thieves tend to be. Trust is far more valuable than anythin' you'll find in a vault, you know.

Ah, which reminds me! The contents of course. A very mysterious sort of object. It appeared to be a simple, white orb of absolutely no value but truthfully it holds a great many secrets. In the right hands, that is. You have to be awfully talented with divination to use it, but if you were able, it's said you'd be able to predict the future more vividly than you would be able with any other method.

Where is it now? [Ohhh. Maybe she will look into divination. Not that she would get this mysterious object, but because she would definitely try to be good enough to one day be deserving! That would make everyone proud of her, right?] Is it still inside the vault?

There's a good lass. You'll learn fast with an attitude like that. [He smiles, saying that as if he doesn't already know she's one of the brightest students in school.]

It's not with her and it's not in the vault. [He gives her a sage nod.] The owner took it back into their own possession once the failed theft occured. Can't say I know all that much about them, but I know that the fight to get it back was well worth it. They certainly weren't a person to be trifled with.

[Rose just looks at Dualscar, completely in awe. Best story ever. The only way it could have been better if it had some huge hero saving the day or maybe her mom. Or her dad!]

[Unfortunately for Rose, the thought never occurs to him. He has little to no knowledge of her mother and, as much as he appreciates Bro, he's not about to give anyone credit for something he did.

So he's going to give her a smug smile.]
