Hey, everyone no doubt had an amazing fortnight off. I know I certainly had some, we'll go with, well, eye-opening in weird ways I guess.

And then we have the new term coming up. I've thought of some new plays and I'm looking forward to taking on Gryffindor and Slytherin, And I'm going to be taking you both more seriously than I did Hufflepuff.

And thanks to the one with the wide forehead an blonde hair. I will actually be in the Duelling competition that's coming up. Which really is an exercise in stupid, but hey, pretty sure I can make an impression, I always do.

Did he lift you up and hang you over the stairs until you signed up?

I didn't go through your trunk since before winter break, I haven't seen anything or done anything incriminating.

Okay, not what I wanted to talk to you about, but suddenly I feel the need to look through my trunk. Where are you right now?

No need to do that. I'm down in the library, some seventh year left out a book from the restricted section.

[Closes the journal and heads down to the library. Sitting down across from her, putting his arms on the table then rests his head on them when he gets there.]

[She closes the found book when Tony arrives and gives him a questioning look and doesn't bother to feign offense to the Vulture comment he made.]

What's going on?

[Mumbles into his arms.]

I kissed Bruce about and hour to half an hour before the New Year came in.

[She gives him a surprised look since that wasn't what she expected to hear.]

Well, that's just poorly timed? You weren't drinking, were you?

No, I was drinking after I did it.

[He lifts up his head to look at her.]

I kissed him when he was a girl too. Is it counted as gay if it's just Bruce?

[He groans and flops his head back against his arms heavily.]

That sounds so stupid.

You're too young to drink, despite your school year.

Well... do you look at other boys and want to kiss them?

[He turns his head a little to look up at her.]

When has my age ever stopped me doing anything? And, no. I guess not. Well, Sherlock, once. I was thinking up things that would annoy him, so I doubt it counts.

And yeah, I look at everyone, I only really like hanging out with attractive people.

I'm going to remember this for the next time you tell me not to do something, okay? That was the best thing you could think of?

Maybe you like Bruce and it's finally showing.

I also have my own personal fortune to back me up. You still have to be a good girl.

[Not that Tony's not completely protective of her, especially after her being involved in Bruce's wolfing out.]

And of course I like Bruce. He's my best friend. Why wouldn't I like him?

[He makes an attempt to keep composed by looking at some dirt and oil under his fingernails.]

Personal fortune only counts when bail is required and that would mean getting caught and I'm too good to get caught doing anything wrong so far.

[She smirks at him.]

Don't be stupid, you know what I mean and if you don't, I mean you like him in the pops in to your head while your snogging someone else type of like.

When have I ever been the kind of guy to do things so people don't notice?

[He goes a little pink.]

That... Would imply that I've actually kissed anyone recently...

It was just a scenario, I wasn't going to say the obvious one where he randomly pops in to your head.

Caw, caw.

[He gives her a bemused look before dropping his head again.]

I don't even know if I do that or not. I mean, does it even count. We're almost always together during school anyway. Even before I go moved up, ever since he tried to kill me with a book in the tower.

If you were Clint, and I was Bruce, what would your conclusion be?

That Bruce got short, and I have a stupid hair cut?

[He sits up and rubs his face with both his hands with a groan.]

Well as Bruce, you would probably tell Clint that he definitely had a thing for Natasha, who I'm assuming Bruce is in this little scenario, because he's not going to be Thor.

He got a haircut before the dance, it's not mop like.

Yes, you're Clint who likes Natasha. Bruce-Natasha that is since we're in a broship together.

Okay, I have freshly un-stupid hair.

Okay, sure. If we're going through with this strange and vaguely creepy scenario, because you know I'm always going to be, you know, cuter than him, right? Anyway.

Okay then, Bruce. What should I do about this whole me-kissing-Natasha thing?

This is never going to be not weird.

Well as Bruce I tell you to go talk to Tony. What would Tony tell Clint-Tony? Besides, fix your hair.

It could be weirder if we changed our voices or had polyjuice potion to look the parts.

Well after telling Clint to go and see an actual hair stylist, I...

[He sighs almost reluctantly.]

I'd tell him to do something extravagant to get noticed then confess. And offer to help in doing it.

There you go. Tell him you like him, if you do. And if you can't tell if you like him, just think about if you notice butterflies in your stomach or do you go out of your way to see him.

Don't confess on Valentine's Day either, that's just tacky.

You know, you're bringing really obvious logic here. I don't know if I like this. I mean, you have a point, let's be obvious there but. This is Bruce. I can't, he's gotten awkward every time I have kissed him and, well I don't think he's actually like that.

[He gives her a curiously look.]

Right?

Of course I am, I just dealt with this situation myself, and I observe people and how things happen. Don't try to kiss him, just tell him and let him take the next step. You can't plan this out to get a specific result. Feelings are different and complicated.
