 For those of you not in Ravenclaw and kept saying this day would never arrive.

It did, it started over Easter and now I can proudly say that I have almost completely grown in a moustache.

And you know what, I really make this look good.

[To be fair, it still looks a little whimpy, but there's no mistaking it's moustachiness.]

Define great. It makes you look neither older nor more masculine, though I imagine it does provide some much needed humor whenever you're in the room.

Yeah, maybe I should get rid of it then. I wouldn't want to de-throne you as the rooms joke. Would I?

Very few people find me funny, Stark, though it IS amusing to see YOU trying to be clever. But please, feel free to keep it, I'd hate to see all that work you put in go to waste. It's taken you months, hasn't it?

Yeah, because I really need to try to be clever. And I don't really think growth time has anything to do with it. What with every body developing at different rates. So really, I don't have to even pretend that you think having a go at a moustache as spectacular as this can upset me.

[It does get on his nerves though, that's for sure.]

Stark, I've been shaving since I was 12. Bruce has more impressive moustaches when he wakes up every morning than you've got after all this time. So I would hardly call the little shadow on your face 'spectacular'.

Since you were twelve? Wow, maybe you're family should have invested in a doctor checking your hormone levels from an early age. because that really can't be right.

Especially if you have the theoretical physical maturity, you still have the emotional maturity of a 6 year old who never gets their way.

I'm sorry, who's the one that's bragging about the amazing ability to grow facial hair, here, and getting defensive when it's pointed out it's no great feat? Certainly not me.

But do carry on. I suppose you must have something you can be proud of.

Yeah, because all my previous achievements, don't count I guess. Because I'mm also pretty damn proud of those too.

Which begs the question - why don't you post anything in your journal about them?

Because wizards don't generally understand the finer details of car mechanics, or electrical designs.

Sounds a bit racist to me. You are aware that a great many wizards aren't raised in purely magical surroundings, right?

Exactly, which makes it even more idiotic that you don't recognize that.

So its idiotic for me to know most wizards don't know a catalictic convertor from a computer chip? Be serious

Yes, it is. I would imagine almost every Muggleborn wizard here knows that, and quite a few of the halfbloods. It's a fairly simple distinction. If you're talking about purebloods, that's a different story, but the majority of wizards aren't pureblooded.

Yeah, the only reason you would be able to tell would be making a guess based on size. So let's not mistake that for really knowing the difference here.

I could care less where they some from. Just having some muggle blood doesn't make people more or less equiped to understand things like that

Background and education has a great deal to do with knowledge acquisition, otherwise there wouldn't be much point in school.

We start here at eleven. How many engineering and computer science classes were you in then? Mixed blood or full blood that's not something anyone just does.

Hey, I'm not saying people can't learn it, because well, obviously I have. I' saying it doesn't com naturally and no one just learns these things unless they have an actual interest in it. And that applies to everyone.

Then perhaps you shouldn't have specified 'wizards' if that's not what you meant. Clarity is a virtue, Stark. Backpedaling is not.

Yeah, but I was talking about wizards so really I was clear from the start, you were the one getting all pedantic and crotchety.
