Well you should always shave once in the morning and then again before dinner. Don't ask why, it's just proper shaving etiquette to shave before dinner.

It's too late in the afternoon for a shave, so maybe this evening.

Although it might take a while for you to perfect the art of shaving, so maybe starting early would be best. I am sure it would work up quite the appetite.
