You can certainly see where some of our special students get their traits from. It should have been called 'Bring yours weirdest freako family member to the castle day'

Not that there aren't enough freaks here already.

I told Mother not to come, it's not like I'm a first year anymore. I did send her a gift for Mothering Sunday though. A trip to a spa, that way she can work on those tiny wrinkles.

Why wouldn't she be alive? She's not like my dad and accidentally smother himself in his sleep.

Right, accident.

My mom's in Canada and my dad's busy. I didn't want to bother him with school stuff.

Is he at a Lumberjack gathering?

No. My dad owns a small restaurant in Kent.

Is it a real restaurant or one of those muggle food herding places with screaming kids?

It's like a bakery-cafe deal.

That's fairly ambitious.

Just don't use the place as a venue for your 'band.'

I could make it a cool place.

You better get practicing then.
