Despite its persistently dusty appearance, returning to Hogwarts always has its advantages.

During our vacation, Liz dragged me to see a muggle movie named Midnight: Broken Dawn. Frankly I am appalled at how muggles view Vampires and Werewolves. How could a vampire travel to Brazil? This is just illogical to me.

And when I asked Liz to explain, she told me that they sparkled in the sunlight, but I cannot fathom why this would be the case.

I am left to presume this is another case of muggle movies adapting novels poorly.

I guess people are so obsessed with romance they're foolish enough to assume that dark creatures can feel the same way.

Indeed. Karkat informed me that those type of novels are highly popular, but I fail to understand why people are so excessively interested in such an inaccurate and fanciful depiction.

I saw. He said romance novels in general, too. I don't get the paranormal romance genre but I suppose I can understand why regular romance would appeal to the public...it's their ideals.

I mean, what's your ideal view of love?

Well. I haven't ever...considered it. Love in general seems like a distraction from one's goals. And its importance seems overemphasized.

However.

I believe the ideal for something like that would be...individuals who together create balance. The flaws of one are assisted by the positives of another.

Many friendships are based off of those properties! I would think that those who are inclined towards romance would look for that in their relationships too.

I was simply stating that many people find friendships with people who compliment them and it seems strange that they wouldn't seek something similar instead of...the physical connection that seems more prevalent.

That's only because men can't commit and only seek out physical gratification with the curviest woman they can find.

[Arghhhhh, why Maka, why. NO. He could figure this out, he just had to concentrate. Thinking in a romantic context, he could do this.

He didn't really know what it meant to have a type but...aesthetically, he liked...symmetry. So...logically, as Maka was symmetrical, she would be his physical type, right?]
