Do you know what you're going to be doing this summer?
My father hasn't told me what we're doing yet, but we're probably just going to stay in Glasgow.

Really? Who is Dirk? I don't think I've met him. And I don't think I've heard of Legos either, but they're presumably a sort of building material.

And when were you wanting to play cards? I don't have many plans this week, so I could join you whenever you're free.
What kind of card game is it? I haven't played many myself, but I'm sure I could pick it up soon enough.

That does sound familiar I think I have written to him a number of times.
And his name is Strider. Is he related to the one in Gryffindor? I don't think Strider is a very common name, although I guess this could just be a coincidence.

I've never seen them before, but it sounds like they're a lot like building blocks. Are they?

And I don't know that one, but from what I can tell, it's going to be new to all of us, do we should all be on a relatively even playing field. In any case, it sounds like it will be fun.
