No way. It's a dragon egg. Their shells are too hard for anything to get through.

tHEY COULD MAYBE, dEGRADE THE EGGSHELL,
aND GET THROUGH ALL THAT HARDNESS,
aND THEN THE DRAGON WOULD, uH, sMELL LIKE SHARPIE,
aLSO IT WOULD SUFFOCATE,
yOU CAN NOT LET THE BABY DRAGON, sUFFOCATE AND SMELL LIKE SHARPIE,

Dave might get mad if I just washed off the sunglasses without his permission.

He might, but he didn't ask your permission before drawing the sunglasses in the first place, so I don't think he would really have grounds to be upset with you.

But then again, now that I think on it, as unsettling as the sunglasses probably were, there are worse things that could have happened to your egg.
